K & R Wood Products blends old school tried and true processes with highly advanced modern optimizing technology. This investment in specialized equipment allows us to produce the highest yield, minimize waste and streamline our manufacturing process as efficiently as possible.
Redundancy is paramount in our manufacturing process here at K & R. Running dual gang rip saws with optimizing technology, high speed cross cutting systems, dual Taylor clamp carriers and three 12’ moulders allow us to not only produce product at high capacity, it assures on time delivery with minimal down time in the event of a machine failure. If any one machine in the process goes down, there is always a second or third machine maintaining production.

K & R Wood Products is a domestic manufacturer of stair treads, stair risers and transitional flooring accessories. We are committed to bringing you quality product at highly competitive rates and on-time delivery. As such, we partner with reputable domestic suppliers and lacy act compliant importers to assure every piece of material we purchase is legally and sustainably harvested.
Once this lumber arrives, we internally manage and oversee every aspect of the manufacturing process from start to finish. With an on-site UV cured pre-finishing facility, we can provide custom stain matching abilities. We can accommodate job lots built to customer specifications as well as full truckload stocking programs in both a finished and unfinished product.
